Deciding on a blog name can be tricky, with the domain needing to be catchy, relevant, and easy enough to remember. If you’re struggling to come up with one, here’s a list of 61 skincare blog name ideas and how to choose a great one.
I’ve also included a way to get your domain name for free, along with three generator tools to use if you’re still out of luck.
Domain names are so important and give your blog credibility and a strong presence against your competitors. A domain name like ‘thebeautygenius com’ stands out so much more than ‘sallys-great-skin-care-advice com.’
So, remember to spend time coming up with your domain name and realize that it’s an integral part of your blog’s branding.
Anyways, without further ado, let’s get started on how to select a good skincare blog name.

How to Select a Good Skincare Blog Name
Here are three tips I recommend you follow when coming up with a skincare blog name. I’ve used these strategies to come up with numerous blog names and have had great success.
If you want to skip straight to the 61 blog name ideas, click here.
Use a thesaurus
The first piece of advice I’d have for finding a good skincare name is using a thesaurus to find synonyms for words you like.
I use Thesaurus for words I like and simply input the keywords to find synonyms.
I’ll use my domain name research as an example. I wanted my domain to be called ‘aspiring blogger,’ but found out that the name was actually taken.
Instead of moving on, I used a thesaurus to find synonyms for ‘aspiring’ and found the word ‘striving’ instead.
I really liked the word ‘striving’ and found it more relevant to my niche, and that’s the quick story of how ‘Striving Blogger’ came to be.
You can use the exact same principle for any skincare blog name you like.
Research your niche & competition
What better way to come up with a domain name than by researching your niche and competitors.
Instead of guessing what works and doesn’t, why not see what your main competitors have named their blogs?
This will help you decide what names work in the skincare niche, and you could potentially spin off from one of their ideas.
If you aren’t sure about your competitors or who they are, here are the top skincare blogs of 2022.
Write down which names that you like, and make a list of ideas you could potentially use.
Also, here are some skincare blog names that I like and why I like them.
Great skincare names:
- Beautiful With Brains: Super catchy and easy to remember. I also think it’s a domain name that many people can relate to.
- Skincare by Alana: The domain incorporates her name into it, which I love. It’s also great because she’s been able to turn this into a skincare products business and has her own line of skincare products. If you choose a domain with your name, you could do something similar in the future.
- Happy Skincare: Again, while they’re a business, they still provide blog posts with tips and tricks. I also really like the name, because it’s simple yet inviting.
Use your own name
The last tip I’d recommend is by using your name in your URL.
So, instead of coming up with a random name, you could incorporate your name into the domain and make it a lot more personalized.
An example would be ‘skincare with [first name]’ or ‘beauty by [first name].’ It will cut your domain name search time in half, and it’ll create a personalized domain name that’s relevant to you.
I really like domains with the author’s name in them because it feels like I’m having a conversation with them, rather than just reading from a random account. It also makes you appear more authoritative in the skincare niche.
So try it with your own first or last name and see how you like it.

Free Domain Generator Tools
Now, if you’re still struggling to find a domain name for your skincare blog, don’t stress; these tools can help you a lot.
A blog name generator is a tool that helps you come up with unique and relevant blog names for your niche.
To use one, you can add terms like skincare, face, beauty, skin, and more to the generator tools, and it will spit out hundreds of relevant blog name ideas for you.
I used these tools to develop the 61 skincare blog name ideas above, and they work super efficiently.
Just a heads up, these generator tools do encourage you to buy a domain name through their links but remember, you can get one free through a Hostinger plan. 😊
Themeisle Name Generator
The first domain generator tool I’m recommending is one built by Themeisle. It has all the features you need for finding a great domain name and is super easy to use.
All you have to do is add your desired keyword into the search box, choose your preferred extensions (like com, net, co), and it will display dozens of domain names that are available.
I really like this tool because it gives you a ton of readily available ideas, and you can also choose words that sound similar or rhyme.
Nameboy
The second domain name generator tool that I highly recommend is Nameboy. You can enter one or two keywords into the search bar, click ‘Submit,’ and it will spit out hundreds of ideas and their availabilities.
If there aren’t any good names available, try entering different keyword variations into the search box. Sometimes the tool has a hard time finding specific keywords and their available domain names.
I enjoy this tool because it’s so easy to use, and it spits out so many variations of domain names.
Business Name Generator
The final domain generator tool I’m recommending you to check out is the Business Name Generator. I use this tool most frequently, and it generates some excellent domain name ideas.
I love this tool because you can filter keywords from dozens of industries, choose character counts, choose between inserting the keyword before or after, and even if you want the words to rhyme.
It’s a great tool that’s incredibly user-friendly and will sprout tons of ideas.
Wrapping Up
So that finishes on choosing a great skincare blog name, my 61 skincare blog name ideas, how to get a free domain and three good generator tools that you can use.
Hopefully, this article has helped you find a domain name to use, or at least some inspiration for finding one. Finding a relevant domain name can be challenging and time-consuming, so congratulations if you’ve found one.
Also, you probably won’t get your preferred domain name pick; I know I didn’t. So, if you find out it’s taken, don’t give up yet. Use synonyms or find variations of the keyword until you find one that’s available.
Again, you can get a free domain name for one year with a Hostinger plan, plus up to 80% off through my link! 😊
